The short version: we collect almost nothing, we use no tracking cookies, and we never sell or share your data. You can download every free printable without giving us anything at all.
The free printables
You can browse the site and download any of the free printables without signing up, without an email address, and without accepting anything. We do not know who you are, and we like it that way.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to see aggregate numbers: how many people visit, which pages are popular, which sites they arrived from, their rough location by country, their language setting, screen size, and type of device and browser. It also counts clicks on the buy buttons, so we know which pages lead people to the shop. Umami does not use cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not identify you as an individual.
When you download one of the free printables, our hosting counts the download in the same aggregate way: which file, which site linked to it, your country, language and type of device. If another website shows one of our paper images on its own page, we count that the same way, including the address of that website. We do not send or keep your IP address.
Our DNS and hosting run through Cloudflare, who serve the site from their global network and also give us similar aggregate, cookie-free statistics. Because none of this stores anything on your device, there is no cookie banner to click through.
The newsletter
We will only ever email you if you ask us to, by signing up for our newsletter. If you do, we use your email address to send you that newsletter and nothing else, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We will not add you to anything you did not sign up for.
Buying a paid product
If you buy one of the paid packs, checkout and payment are handled by our payment provider, Payhip. They process your payment and your email address so they can take the payment and send you your download link. We receive your email address so we can help with your order if you ever need us to. We do not use it for marketing unless you have separately signed up for the newsletter.
We do not share your data
We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising or any other purpose. These are the only companies involved, and only for the jobs listed:
- Cloudflare runs our DNS and hosting and serves every page and download.
- Umami provides the aggregate analytics described above.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site uses. Your browser fetches them from Google, so Google sees your IP address, as with any website you visit.
- jsDelivr serves the stroke-order animation on the character pages, and only when you press Play.
- Payhip handles checkout and payment if you buy something.
That is the whole list.
Your data, your call
If you want to know what we hold about you, or you want it removed, email hello@chineseprintables.com and we will sort it out.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page. Last updated 11 October 2026.
